Excursion to Jameos del Agua and Cueva de los Verdes (the Green Caves)

Too many languages. The guide conducted the tour in Spanish, English, and German simultaneously, so you had to pay attention to the explanation in every language or you’d miss yours.

Great tour to do in the morning. We came along with two other families on a cruise, and some already knew Timanfaya National Park, so we all decided to do this tour because it coincided with the time we were going to spend in Lanzarote. We all loved it.

Two must-visit places. Going to Lanzarote and not seeing Timanfaya Park, the Cueva de los Verdes, and Jameos is like not having visited the island.

Fantastic tour. We came on a cruise and already knew Timanfaya, so this short tour fit our schedule well, and we enjoyed the entire tour. Good organization, punctual pick-up, and a fantastic guide.

It’s worth it. For a little more than the cost of tickets to Jameos and the Cueva when going on your own, you save the queues to enter and avoid all problems. The hotel pick-up was punctual, and the guide and driver were a 5 out of 5 stars.

Impressive sites. In addition to the two tour gems, Jameos and the Cueva de los Verdes, the Las Nieves viewpoint and the Valley of a Thousand Palms were very beautiful.

A short and comfortable route to visit the Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos. Although we thought about renting a car for the tour, in the end, we decided to book this tour for convenience. We didn’t have to wait to enter the sites, we didn’t need to rent a car, and the guide was very friendly and provided a lot of interesting information.

Unique sites. This was the second tour we did with Oklanzarote, the first one being the short tour to Timanfaya, and we wanted another short tour to visit Los Jameos and the Cueva de los Verdes. We recommend both tours 100%.

Amazing. Just by going to Jameos and the Cueva de los Verdes, it was worth visiting Lanzarote.

Wonderful. We’ve been to Lanzarote more than 5 times and had visited Timanfaya National Park on several occasions, but we hadn’t been to the north of the island. We loved the Jameos del Agua and the Green Cave.

Spectacular places. Without a doubt, Jameos and the Green Caves, along with Timanfaya, are must-visit site if you go to Lanzarote.

I do not recommend it if you are staying in Playa Blanca. We were the first customers to be picked up and the last to be dropped off, we spent half the time picking up customers on our way there and back. They should set up a pick-up point for each area, and that way we would avoid wasting so much time.

Great route, driver, and guide. The roads are very curvy, and at times I was a little scared, but the driver was fantastic. The English guide who accompanied us provided very good information, and visiting those two great treasures, without queuing, was wonderful.

Good tour but the pick-up and return times were too long. We were staying in Playa Blanca, and I think we spent more than 2.5 hours between picking up and dropping off the other customers. The guide explained to us that the only way to reduce the pick-up time was to limit the number of stops in each area and that if they did, customers would complain because they wouldn’t be picked up near their hotel. They will have to find another solution.

Good tour but a bit expensive. The tour itself was very good, but last year we tried to do the same tour and it cost about 40% less, I do not understand the high price increase.

Awesome tour. Good organization, good guide, good driver, and two spectacular sites. Perfect tour to do in the morning.

Perfect tour to do with children. In our vacation week, we did the Timanfaya tour one morning and this tour on another morning so that it wouldn’t be too tiring for the kids as on a full-day tour.

Good organization. Thanks to this tour and the short tour to Timanfaya, we were able to spend the mornings exploring the island and the afternoons enjoying the beach.

It’s worth it. It was very convenient for us to be picked up at the hotel, not to queue to enter Los Jameos or the Cueva de los Verdes, and for the guide to inform us, at all times, about the most interesting spots.

Highly recommended. The best way to visit the Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua without queuing.

Great tour and good organization. Jameos del Agua and the Green Cave are spots you must visit in Lanzarote, along with Timanfaya, which we had already visited.

Worth it. I went with my husband and two teenage children, and I didn’t want to do a full-day tour to avoid tiring them too much. We booked the Timanfaya tour separately from this one so it wouldn’t be too burdensome for the kids and to give us time in both tours to have breakfast and lunch at the hotel.

Spectacular. I loved the Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos. I don’t know if I should reveal the cave’s secret in the comments, hahaha.

Great tour. I loved Timanfaya, but Jameos and the Green Cave are on the same level.

Perfect morning tour. Third tour in one week. Since we also wanted to enjoy the beach and the hotel, Oklanzarote proposed 3 morning tours, and it was the best option to make the most of our holidays.
